|Ancient Painting from Kamasutra|
I left New Delhi by Kolkata Rjdhni leaving at 17:00 and reached Patna Jn next day at 04:50 in the morning. Mohan, son of my elderly friend Avinash Sinha was at the station to receive me. Avinash Sinha was now a retired professor of History. His father was also a professor of History. This was a prime factor for me to plan a visit to Patna to satisfy my deep rooted desire to know everything about ancient KAMASUTRA which was written centuries ago somewhere in this region of India.
I was impatient and I told so when suggested to visit awesome tourist places in and nearby Patna. Therefore, after a sumptuous breakfast, we settled down to discuss ancient history of KAMASUTRA with Avinash who brought some old manuscripts related to “The Great Gupta Empire” of centuries ago kept by his Father who was born in 1906 and died 1969.
I’m giving below of the summery of our discussions:
The Kama sutra (Sanskrit: कामसूत्र pronounciation (help•info), Kāmasūtra) is an ancient Indian Hindu text widely considered to be the standard work on human sexual behavior in Sanskrit written by Vātsyāyana. A portion of the work consists of practical advice on sexual intercourse.
Vātsyāyana is the name of a Hindu philosopher in the Vedic tradition who is believed to have lived during time of the Gupta Empire (4th to 6th centuries AD) in India. His name appears as the author of the Kama Sutra
Gupta Empire (Sanskrit: गुप्त साम्राज्य, Gupta Sāmrājya) was an Jat empire of ancient India which existed approximately from 320 to 550 AD and covered much of the Indian Subcontinent. The empire was the Golden Age of India and was marked by extensive inventions and discoveries in science, technology, engineering, art, dialectic, literature, logic, mathematics, astronomy, religion and philosophy that crystallized the elements of what is generally known as Hindu culture. Chandra Gupta I, Samudra Gupta the Great, and Chandra Gupta II the Great were the most notable rulers of the Gupta dynasty.
Vātsyāyana was supposed to be born in this region where I’m sitting now, comprising of PATLIPUTRA (Now named Patna), Nalanda and Rajgir

4 Best Kamasutra sex positions
Technically speaking, sex is a weird peculiar thing: we have two people sitting in positions that seem to defy the gravitational laws, puffing and moving rapidly while they are exchanging fluids. Sex can, in fact, become fatiguing and unpleasant, as it equally is satisfying and beneficial.
According to the Kamasutra, there are 64 types of sexual acts one can try during lovemaking. They vary, of course, from being complex muscle movements to soft, sexy postures. Have you ever wanted to try all of them, and wondered, at the same time, if there is one meant especially for you? Read more...
We ended our discussions by the evening.
On the following 2 days, I visited Patna(PATLIPUTRA), Nakanda and Rajgir. I was keenly looking at the folks, trying to imagine this world of love and culture centuries ago.
